"Class, we'll be working on a small presentation today." With this, you perk up. Your teacher had successfully managed to attain will bit of attention you could give. You now had this thought in mind, and it definitely got you thinking. It was only a matter of time before the teacher would ask you to pair up. It was essential that you figured out who to ask now, or you might end up with Hanji. Now, she was a nice person, but hogged all the crayons whenever you worked together. That would simply not suit your taste.

So you got thinking. Eren? Probably not, he's far too loud. Mikasa? In all honesty, you thought she was a bit intimidating. Especially when she had juice boxes in her lunch. Levi? That was now out of the question. The last time you partnered up with him, all he did was call you brat. He even broke your favorite crayon in half, which was a rather devastating time in your life. Hanji helped arrange a funeral for the crayon though.

'I'm getting no where.' you think to yourself, before sighing softly. That's when you saw a bit of golden fluff next to you, and you suddenly remembered. 'Oh yeah, I sit next to this kid.' What was his name again?

Ah, yes. Armin Arlert. Armin was never one to speak that much. Whenever he was called in front of the classroom, he'd almost always end up in tears, and the teacher would have to call his grandfather. It always made you frown, especially when some jerk named Jean would laugh at him.

He was just a little... different. He didn't like playing with toys, he just kept to himself and read. This led to some bullying from the Jean kid. Luckily, Mikasa would throw her juice box at Jean whenever he teased poor Armin. You had previously underestimated the power Mikasa held when it came to throwing lunchtime projectiles. After witnessing the rise and downfall of Jean's ego, you made sure to not annoy Mikasa.

But, today would be different, you were completely sure. When your teacher asked for you to partner up, you slowly gravitated towards the small blonde. He seemed rather nervous since his only friends were partnered up together, leaving him by himself.

'Okay. This is my time.' You jumped in front of Armin, which startled the poor boy. He jumps out of his seat, and places his small hand to his heart.

"Uh, d-do you need something?" Armin murmurs. A small part of you thought that Armin might want to be left alone. But at the same time, that just seemed way too sad. You wouldn't allow him to feel alone. Or for Jean to laugh his horse equivalent laugh at him.

"Do you wanna partner up?" you respond with a cheeky grin. There was no way he'd say no. Or, at least that's what you hoped. Armin nervously looks around, almost like he was looking for an excuse. He clutches his hands together, and bites his lip. It was almost pitiful that he wasn't even looking at you now. Armin sighs in defeat, before sitting down.

"Sure..." he trails off, and gently pats the seat next to him. Your eyes light up in the utmost joy; you were going to work with Armin! As fast as your small legs could manage, you scurry next to him, and take your seat. However, that's when Armin whips out the most impressive creation your eyes have ever seen.

Sixty-four crayons. Right in front of your eyes. Your mouth was now agape, and you softly pressed your hand to the box. Armin seemed rather excited that you liked his collection, and he pushes aside his nervousness for a moment.

"Pretty cool, huh? My grandpa got this for me." Armin explains, and you smile at him. This presentation was going to be spectacular. Now that enough time had passed, the teacher, Ms. Ral, clasped her hands together.

"Alright! I'll announce what we'll be doing today," she says with a cheery smile, "create a declaration, of any kind. It can be a fake announcement, a real one, anything you'd like! Just remember to list at least three facts about it. Good luck!" Ms. Ral exclaims.

Everything breaks out into organized chaos after that. Everyone was scurrying to come up with ideas. Out of the corner of your eye, you're pretty sure that you saw Eren running around with glitter in his hair.

Armin had his tongue poking out of his small mouth, as he diligently colored away. It was a bit weird, but he wasn't asking for your help or anything. With your lips quirking down, you try to peek over his shoulder. Armin looks back at you in distress, and places his small arms up.

"P-please, don't look! I promise to do all the work, just... don't look yet!" Armin squeezes his cerulean eyes shut, anticipating the worst. You blink at the blonde, and have pity upon him. When you shrug in a nonchalant fashion and look away, Armin is swift to return to to his work. Besides, the fate of not having to do any work seemed rather nice in your eyes. So for an entire ten minutes, you simply doodled anything that came to your mind for the next ten or so minutes.

Armin hadn't said a word to you during this time period, but before you could voice your concern, Miss. Ral clapped her hands together. The ginger had an earnest smile on her face, and everyone gave them their attention.

"Alright! Time's up," Miss. Ral beams. Everyone is buzzing excitedly with their partner. You guessed whatever secret Armin was hiding could be revealed, so you attempted sneaking up on him again. He sensed your presence all too soon, and he turns around. The blank stare he was giving you was a small warning not to venture any further.

"Just, trust me, okay?" Armin murmurs, a small pout on his lips. At such a young age, he certainly did know how to tug on your heart. When you agree to leave him be once again, Miss. Ral calls up the first group to present.

"Mikasa, Jean, it's your turn." Miss. Ral says. Jean grabs Mikasa by her dainty wrist, and with a broad grin on his face, runs up in front of the class. Mikasa seemed to be in a bad mood since Jean was her partner, but nevertheless, she went with it. Jean cheekily turns to Mikasa, and places his hands on his hips.

"Are you ready, Mikasa?" In contrast to Jean, who seemed to be bursting with excitement, Mikasa gives a halfhearted nod. She turns to face the rest of the class.

"Hello. I'm Mikasa, and this is Jean," she explains in a deadpan, "my declaration is that I am strong. Real strong. None of you can come close. I will now demonstrate this so it can become a fact." Mikasa strides towards Jean, who inhales sharply. Almost out of no where, she's suddenly armed with a juice box. Miss. Ral's glimmering amber hues quickly realized what was going to happen, and her face pales. She did not sign up for this.

"Mikasa! Hold up!" She exclaims while running towards the dangerous female. Before Mikasa could throw her juice box, Miss. Ral gently takes it from her hands. Mikasa gives a small glare to the teacher, who gulps.

"I-I give you and Jean an A, there's no need to get violent." Miss. Ral had seen the terrors of Mikasa's juice box throwing, and knew what not to dabble around in. Mikasa's lips quirk up, almost into a small smirk, before her face turns stone cold again. Mikasa and Jean both return to their seat, leaving Miss. Ral to feel more than grateful. Her eyes skim over her class, while she thinks of who to call on next. With a proud grin, she points to you and Armin.

Armin jumps in his spot again, and anxiously clutches the poster in his hand. He looks at you, before looking at Miss. Ral, and then looking at Jean. He begins to scurry towards the front of the class, and you follow. Although, you had no idea what was in store. Some kid named Erwin, for whatever reason, seemed pretty proud of Armin.

Cautiously, he reveals his poster. Since you're by his side, you can't see it yet. Everyone in the class, excluding Levi and Mikasa, are either gaping or gasping at whatever Armin revealed. Your inquisitive ways get the best of you, and you peek to see what Armin drew. It's a crayon drawing, and obviously not the best - but you could make out what it was.

Two stick figures, one with blonde hair and another with (h/c) hair, were standing under what looked like a gazebo of sorts. The (h/c) stick figure was wearing a fluffed out dress, and Armin was wearing a tuxedo with a duck pool floaty around himself. What was that even for? Armin waits for the initial shock to die down, before he shakily explains.

"M-my declaration is this," Armin addresses, "when I get older, I-I'm going to marry (Name)! The first face is that I'll be wearing my favorite duck pool floaty, the second fact is that we'll name each of our children Donald, boy or girl. The final fact is that I'll treat her better than a Disney Princess!" Armin hastily finishes up. You can only stare at him in awe. This certainly was not what you were expecting. You couldn't even conjure up a proper response.

After silence settled into the classroom, Eren stands up. His emerald hues were flickering with the most amount of passion you'd ever seen. He wraps his small tan hands around his mouth, like he was going to project his voice.

"Good job Armin!" Eren loudly yells, before sitting back down. Miss. Ral seems to be in a daze, but she manages to snap out of it.

"That's quite adorable, Armin. But what does (Name) think about this? Consent is the most important thing." Miss. Ral courteously speaks. Now, all eyes were on your shocked form, including Armin.

Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Mikasa's orbs narrowing, and she flashed her juice box. Great. At this point, that didn't matter to you. It's not like you ever planned on being rude to Armin. He was like a cute kitten, that you just couldn't hurt, unless you're a jerk. Or Jean, either works honestly.

"I'd love to get married to Armin one day! The only part I don't really agree with is the Donald thing, but I'm sure we can work that out." You bubble with a smile. Armin mimics your joyous expression, and cheers loudly. He had did it! Now only he needed to do is wait a few decades, and it would actually happen!

Miss. Ral had been losing hope in her little idea when Mikasa almost attacked someone with her dangerous juice box, but nevertheless, it turned out to be quite adorable.

"Wait, Armin. What's up with the duck pool floaty?" you inquire, wanting to clear a few things up. Armin turns to look at you, dead serious.

"... (Name). The pool floaty is the utmost important thing in the universe of existing. Please, do not inquire any further, or I'll have to utter the truth in which you'd be unable to understand. This pool floaty, means so much, that I can not put it into words."

You wouldn't question whatever the heck that meant.
