Izaya Orihara x Reader |Endearment|
There's a certain sweetness to silence.
The room you situated yourself in wasn't entirely quiet. Izaya was humming, fingers hitting his keyboard at an inhumane speed; a grin spread on his pale face. You can't help but stare in awe. For all the times you question his self proclaimed godlike status, you wonder if there's merit to his words.
Despite the devilish actions he was partaking in, he had such a childlike enthusiasm to everything. The clock ticked on, minutes passing like the blink of an eye. You eventually look away, realizing you had stared at Izaya for an embarrassingly long time.
'As long as he didn't notice.' you silently plead.

"Saeyoung."
Once again, you call his name softly. The sleeping figure mumbles incoherently, his breathing growing more intense. Knitting your eyebrows together, you begin to shake him gently. That seems to do the trick, as this time, he wakes up.
He's panting, sweat glistening his skin, and gnawing on his lip violently. As if working on instinct alone, he reaches out blindly. Only when his hand reaches your shoulder does he relax his muscles, exhaling.
"I woke you up, didn't I?" he murmurs. You shake your head, a tired smile on your face.
In the dark, you squint, managing to see his ruffled red hair. You raise a hand and start combing thr

The moment you get home, you're certain that you'll collapse.
With haste, you make your way to your bedroom. It wasn't difficult to navigate your one small apartment, even with all the clothes strewn about. You haphazardly stumble into your room, before plopping onto your bed. The mattress creaks beneath your weight, causing you to wince. Cheap material gives cheap results.
A relieved sigh leaves your lips as your eyes shut tightly. A long day at campus, jotting down notes, listening to Professors speak, dealing with annoying classmates... the list goes on. Despite this, you're grateful to be receiving an education.
You notice your phone b

"Rin! Wait a second, you're walking to fast!"
You bend over, placing your hands on your knees in an attempt to steady yourself. Your ginger companion glances over at you, not slowing down for a second. Hanayo has mercy on your soul, and stops walking.
"Kayo-chin," Rin whispers with urgency, also coming to a halt. "I'm ignoring [First] for now."
"Eh? Why?" Hanayo inquires, shooting you a merciful glance. Despite knowing each other for so long, Hanayo has never seen you both get into a serious fight. Rin narrows her eyes, and starts walking away.
"Because, pork flavored ramen is much better than chicken!" she exclaims, purposefully projecti

Rize Kamishiro x Reader |Temptress|
All of time seems to stop when you hear a crackling noise behind you.
Taking in a deep breath, you shake your head, hoping to ignore it. It was nothing, you're sure of it. Many things could make a noise like that. Rabbits, squirrels, blood thirsty monsters that want to feast upon your flesh--
Another creak. Licking your lips, you focus on steadying your shaky breathing. You walk this path home every night, and you've never run into danger beforehand. 'I'll be fine. In just a few minutes, I'll be sitting on my bed, watching Sailor Moon while wearing pajamas. Nothing can take that from me.'
You speed up your pace, walking along the vacant ro

Leo x Reader |Instantance|
"Why is it you insist on spending your free time with me?"
Leo's voice breaks through the comfortable silence the both of you had previously been sitting in. You gaze up from your book out of surprise, furrowing your eyebrows at his question. His gaze is hard to hold, deep auburn eyes calculating and inquisitive.
"I wonder..." you trail off, before laughing nervously. Leo's glove clad hands drum against the wooden table in front of you, not sharing in your apparent amusement. You gulp, your mind searching for excuses. You have no intention on telling him the truth, certain that if you reveal your feelings your cozy relationship with the Pri

'I wonder if Kei actually likes me.'
This particular thought has been plaguing you for days now. No matter what argument you try to combat it with, the doubt always remains. It creeps up when you're alone the most, like now. You sit here, waiting for Kei's practice to end. 'Maybe I could ask him about it when I see him next?'
The thought makes you inhale sharply. You shake your head. 'I don't think I could do that. After all, I'm sure it's nothing; I don't want him to feel guilty.'
Not everyone is naturally affectionate. When you began dating Kei, you realized that sooner than later. It wasn't too bad at first, as you were overwhelmed with

"Takumi!"
The moment he hears your voice, the muscles in his body stiffen. His mind is blank, the task he was currently attending to long forgotten. Takumi blinks, awakening from his brief stupor. With the threat of your footsteps approaching, he doesn't waste another second, before he breaks out into a sprint in the opposite direction.
You reach out towards him, body aching. Finally, you come to a stop, hands resting on your thighs. Focusing on Takumi's retreating figure, you're stuck between feeling aggravation and despair. Your chest continues to heave, lungs desperate the air it so desperately needs.
"Dammit!" you exclaim, uncaring if

"Hey, Kenma, did you know cats are proven to lower blood pressure?"
"I don't have a cat, though."
You perk up, eyeing him warily. He gave you a response, that's an improvement! Kenma looks up from his console for only a moment, his face unreadable. Smiling, you feel a sense of accomplishment.
Whenever you tried to talk to him before now, he only responded in grunts, and one ward responses. The hope you have that he'll finally pay attention to you diminishes when he returns to playing his game. 'A cruel fate.'
A pout replacing your previous smile, you dramatically collapse onto his couch. He doesn't seem to mind.

"You're overworking yourself again, aren't you?"
Even though you present it as a question, it still remains a statement. Your arms are crossed across your chest. Kaneki is unable to give a response, his mind dull and body aching.
You're not expecting an immediate response -- so you don't press any further. For now.
Throwing a towel in his direction, his reflexes allow him to catch it easily. He gives a sheepish smile in your direction, mouthing the words "thank you", before wiping away at the sweat on his body. You watch him, gaze unsteady, and fears slowly being confirmed. How could you have not noticed this sooner? The delay in his actio
