Ginoza's watchful eyes inspect the various trains passing by. He takes the liberty to also look around at those in the same predicament as him.

Even though his was slightly different from theirs, if he were to guess.

This was finally the day you'd be coming back.

It was hard to realize that two months was a good chunk of time. Even as he stood here now, on a date he was looking forward to for a while now, he's unable to process how he went so long without you. One of the cons of being in a relationship, he guessed. It was only a matter of time before he had to take a case that could possibly endanger you.

So, for your own protection, you stayed at a secret location until the case was solved.

During that time, Ginoza was left by himself. He didn't want to admit it, but the loneliness that accompanied your absence was worse than any physical pain. How many people have left him - he had lost count of - but luckily, you weren't permanently leaving. You'd just... be away, for a short amount of time. He could handle that.

Ginoza nervously licks his lips once he sees a train pull up near where he was waiting.

'This must be it,' he thinks. It was an involuntary action, but he silently compared himself to those around him. Some people were waiting with flowers, well decorated signs, and even jovial laughter and smiles. But here he stood, face devoid of expression, and not a single gift at hand.

He hoped you wouldn't mind.

The train, now frozen, had people pouring out of its doors. It didn't take long to spot your familiar face.

His heart flutters.

"Ginoza!" you yell, which causes him to wince. A few people look in his direction, and he tries to ignore that fact. You run up to him, not a single care in the world; unlike him. Out of sheer glee at seeing him again, you wrapped your arms around his torso. Ginoza lets out a surprised noise, but you didn't even notice.

"Hello, [First]," he greets.

"Ah, I've missed you a ton," you admit, scratching your cheek. You pull back to give him some space, remembering quickly how Ginoza wasn't a big fan of long psychical contact. Ginoza gives a closed-mouth smile as you intertwine your hands into his own.

"Have you been well?" he asks. You nod. Ginoza lets out a sigh, and felt as if a weight was taken off his shoulders. He had been in a constant state of worry over the pass two months. It took a toll on his psycho-pass. He has no idea how it hasn't become cloudy yet. But now, with you in his arms again, he could feel a sense of closure.

"It was so boring there," you whine. "I can't believe you sent me to a retirement center. I love the elderly, yes, but two months is sorta stretching it."

"I apologize that I was unable to get you a five star hotel," he remarks. You're unsure if he's being sarcastic or not. From the way his face gave no indication, and how his voice remained monotonous, you could hardly ever get a read on Ginoza. You roll your eyes, assuming that his words were indeed sarcastic.

"It would've been nice," you tease. Silence accompanies you both. Ginoza, being a subtle gentleman, takes your luggage. He grunts at the weight. How on earth could you have lugged this around? You soon begin to hum a happy tune, relishing in the serenity silence brought. All you needed was his presence - something that you had missed greatly for two months.

"You know, I got you something." When you stop moving, so does he. Your tongue sticks out of your mouth in concentration as you ruffle through your belongings. Once your fingers grasp onto something, your eyes light up. You pull your hand from your backpack, and smile at Ginoza. He raises an eyebrow.

"Hm? And what is that?"

"Be patient!"

"I waited two months."

"Did you gain a sense of humor during that time?"

"Very funny," he drawls, while rolling his eyes. You grin cheekily.

"Ta-dah!" you proudly proclaim, holding your hands out.

Ginoza blinks.

In your palm, laid a few crumpled up flowers. They held a gold tint, and had four large pedals. Ginoza gratefully accepts your gift. He holds it rather awkwardly, since he had no clue where to put it.

"Thank you," he mumbles. You smile at him and shrug.

"You're welcome! Did you know that it has a meaning too? How cool is that?"

"... Pretty cool," he repeats, and you nod your head.

The station was now derived of most people. You were left walking endless and vacant halls with Ginoza. It was a nice change from the fast pace life, but you knew once you left the station, you'd be thrown into an abundance of people again.

"You know," you being to muse, "You technically owe me something?"

Ginoza pauses, and you follow suit. He blinks.

"What?"

Ginoza had no recollection of him owing you anything. He would make it up with lightning speed, so it wouldn't continue looming over him. He could only hope that you weren't playing any tricks, because it would be impossible to convince you that you were wrong. He gulps upon seeing a mischievous smile on your face, he gulps.

"We need to watch Star Wars together."

Ginoza sighs, and props his glasses up.

"Honestly, you shouldn't hang out with Kagari," he grumbles. You bat your eyelashes, lip sticking out in a pout. "I have no idea how you think I 'owe' it to you, but... fine. Let's watch Star Wars together."

It was difficult, but you managed to mask a squeal of excitement. Yet again, you engulf the unsuspecting male in a hug. He looks down at you, his mouth slowly twitching up.

Even with your weird-ass requests that come out of no where, it only served as a reminder of who you were.

He was glad that you were back together again.
Day 2 of flower drabble week: forsythia. [Meaning - anticipation].

herE IT IS
my first ginoza story
or drabble, whatever you want to call it
I was debating whether or not to incorporate some angst but nah
I won't do that
here's some plotless, lighthearted fluff instead that makes no damn sense
oh look the flower was actually in the story
don't mind me

and I hope I didn't get him too OOC
ughgh

this is sorta like
really dialogue heavy
but that's ok
because everyone loves to hear ginoza talk

I don't own you, or Psycho-Pass.
